Here is what I propose to ST (Scratch team) I think older kids, such as ages, I dunno, 12+, should have a... different website to Scratch on. I mean... this is a website for ages 8-16, or at least that's what I've concluded from my studies. -- Table of Contents: -Reason for protest -Scratch Junior -Scratch guidelines -Other Crap -- Reason for protest: Older kids and teenagers or adults on Scratch should have a website for just them, with different guidelines and less restrictions than what we have on this website. I know a lot of people on this website, including myself, that have been blocked, banned, muted or straight up deleted of the face of Scratch for violating community guidelines. I also know that ST, real human people, aren't running Scratch as much as they used to, and are replacing everything with artificial intelligence. One step closer to the apocalypse. Anyway, getting back on track, a seperate website for older ages and people would not only be a great way to settle arguements between ST and teenage creators, but also let Scratch be, well, Scratch for the younger kids. This doesn't mean I think kids of seperate ages should be completely seperated, but I think there should just be more options for different age groups, like myself and other creators who are tired of being muted or blocked from this truly interesting coding cooperation, website, media platform, etc. -- Scratch Junior: As some of us know, this website is for ages whatever, but there is also Scratch Junior, a different website for much younger kids, like ages 5-7, who are much younger and can't even interact with other kids... which would be another example of division... or maybe they're just not ready to be famous online yet... but, if younger kids can have a website for them, why can't we? -- Scratch Guidelines: Respectfully, they need to change. I know this is a website for younger kids, but... older kids need something of their own too. That's all I'm saying for this part. -- Other Crap: I'm not saying teens should be kicked from Scratch to go start a clan or tribe in some other part of the internet. I'm not telling ST to frick off, or that I disagree completely with everything ST does. I wouldn't be here right now if I did reject everything ST does. I'm saying that we have a voice, (Or a keyboard) and we can use it. I'm pretty sure that, by legal rights, we can peacefully protest against things. That's what I'm doing now. And hopefully everyone, specifically some other people and friends online can help with this too. Honestly, I think another website would be great for older ages and people, with maybe less restrictions and more open rules about cussing, violence, dating, romance and such.
