"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" - Genesis 1:1 Our Creator made a perfect world. He gave us the gift of life and created all the things around us. In the beginning, people lived in perfect peace with God. But humans sinned; and the world was broken. We no longer had eternal life with God, since sin separated us from His holiness. Our nature is to go against God and do what is wrong. No one can ever be perfect - and we do not deserve life - we deserve death. Eternal separation from God. We did nothing to deserve God's love. We disobeyed Him, even hating and rejecting our Creator. All of us deserved nothing but eternal punishment. But His love is deeper than the oceans - wider than the skies - vaster than the universe. While we were sinners, He sent us a Savior - Jesus - who is one with Him. Jesus came as a human and gave his LIFE for us! He took our place, bearing our burden of sin, dying the death we deserved! Sacrificing Himself in the most painful way possible, He showed His unending, immeasurable love for us. But death could not keep Him. He rose on the third day. HE IS ALIVE!!! Because He took on our sin and destroyed it with his mercy, He made a way to the Father! We no longer have death - we have life eternal with our Creator! Those who believe in and follow Him will fear death no longer! "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God." - Ephesians 2:8-9 Jesus has made a bridge to eternal life - the door is open - will you follow Him?
