Backstory: Sastruga's mom, Monarch, is from the Silkwing tribe. When she finished her metamorphosis, she left in search of adventure. Many years later, she returned with a blue egg and a diamond bracelet. The egg hatched into Sastruga. On Sastruga's metamorphosis day, she spun glowing blue silk that radiated cold. Everyone was a little freaked out. After her metamorphosis, Sastruga confronted her mother about the silk and learned that her father was an Icewing. A few years later, her mother died, and left Sastruga the aforementioned diamond bracelet, which had been a gift from her father. Sastruga decided to leave in search of her father. She is still looking to this day.
