A lot of people who use AI especially peeps on Twitter/X somehow think AI is the new age of art and that artists like us are mentally defective?! They also say artists are jobless, which is false because some are children, some do art commissions, and some do have jobs. But AI users say art commissioning isn't a real job, if it gets you money, that's a job. Another thing is that the users of AI generated images "fix" art using AI which is outright wrong. AI users also claim if artists can be inspired by something without credits, "AI can too". Tbh art "fixing" was always disgusting. AI users think that spending hours on something you love to do (in this case, art ofc)and have learned a lot thus being a great artist, AI users think that's worthless and think we should just spend 2 worthless seconds generating an image stolen from multiple creators. From personal experience, my path of learning new art styles and getting better as I try out new things, I would be devastated to see AI take its place. But it will never truly take its place, AI isn't very popular after all considering most hate AI "art". I'm pretty sure I missed a couple things I wanted to say but I forgot lol
