He gained a lot of money but when the Decepticons formed with Megatron as their leader, Clench mysteriously disappeared. Many assumed he just ran away with the money he gained and stole, but others assumed he was hunted down and killed by either Megatron or Tarn. Some say he has become a general in Megatron's army, but that probably isn't true.
