Monk disagreed, they’ve been exploring for 14 cycles now, “Aw, we’ve done this so many times, why don’t we relax for one cycle?” He played with the Karma Flowers growing on their arm, “Fine” Survivor groaned, they exited the shelter, and started searching for food, “Here! Dangle fruit!” Survivor called over to Monk, ‘Fruit!’ He thought hopefully, he grabbed one, it was a bit darker than usual and was dripping black goo, Survivor took a bite, Monk tried to see their reaction but couldn’t, they took a bite and gagged, one of their Karma Flowers glowed a blueish color, than withered, “Survivor, we shouldn’t eat these…” he said nervously, “Agreed” Survivor said between coughing and gags. They found some batflies and went to hibernate, Monk closed their eyes and thought about what just happened.
