The Radiant Empire armed forces gathered into smaller units know as Military Groups. These Military groups act has independent armies with their own marines and navy. Military Group B102 began incursion into enemy territory. Initial conflicts were one sided due to Radiant Empire technological and numerical advantages, until a form admiral of the empire turn traitor lead then the largest void fleet to halt B102 progress. The Battle of Breath Edge: At 0500 Hour, scouting parties from both fleets skirmished on the outer edge of XZ-61-Gima System. By 1000 Hour, an assault squadron backed by interceptors took the airspace around XZ-61-Gima Star and Planet Breath. At 1200 Hour, both fleets fully gathered around Breath with the Radiant Empire fleet controlling the planet's orbit. The Radiant fleet unleashed massive waves of lasers, missiles, and shells at the incoming Void assault. The Void fleet commander sent his ships to engage the Radiant Fleet in close range. His unusual tactic confessed Radiant Captain but terrified the admiral. At 1236 Hour, the first wave of Void ships entered close range and unleashed a mass of shells upon the nearby enemies. To their amazement the shell ripped into the hulls of Radiant ship causing extreme failures. Radiant Warship often were built with the primary task of picking of the enemy from afar removing the risk of counter attacks. In a defensive battle with lacking brawler ships the proud Phantom Class Frigates fell apart before an Orca Class Battleship moved in to clear the Void ships. The Void admiral used this fetal flaw of the Radiant Navy to his advantage with towering casualty reports. at 1305 Hour, The Void admiral sent a fleet right on the edge of Breath's atmosphere to hit the underbelly of the Orca Class Battleship. This assault failed due to the Radiant Empire ships heaviest guns gaining full range, and the few brawling ships were stationed beneath the Orca Class Battleship, the Yokai Battle Destroyers. At 1542 Hour, the failed assault forced the Void fleet to retreat while the Radiant fleet needing to recover also retreated. At 1610 Hour, Admiral Ace "Fox" sent a message to the rest of the navy. "The Enemy knows of our lacking ability in close range." The empire has now increased production of Yokai Class Battle Destroyers tenfold.
