The night sky shimmered against Leku's pale blue hide. She didn't want to do what she had to but she must, for the punishment would be death. She scanned the view to make sure no dragons or wyvern spies were watching then, she took of into the night sky. The breeze of the brisk cold air against her scales gave her a sense of freedom. But if I don't do this I'll be killed. The thought of that made her slow down. She would arrive at the palace in about ten minutes to steal the royal heir for her master, no matter how long it took. The thought of stealing an egg before it hatched, being raised by her master. Then once he was of age he would be forced to marry her master's daughter so she would be a part of the royal blood. Then....then...., she couldn't bear to finish the thought. When the sun was about to rest she arrived at the palace door and, was greeted by two almost identical dragons in armor with spears. " What do you want!" Hissed the male dragon on the left. "Zeekiel! That's no way to treat a lady!" Teased the female dragon on the right."Grrr, either way what are you here for!" Hissed Zeekiel." " I'm here to apply for the open position of a maid" lied Leku. "At this late at night?" Questioned the female dragon. Leku's heart raced. "I came from afar, please, I need this job for my family." Leku lied, hopping they would feel some sort of pity. Zeekiel sighed and said " Please come back in the morning." Leku said "Okay.I'll be on my way now." With a hint of regret, Leku turned around and started to fly towards the city near the palace. She looked down and every street was deserted but .then she spotted a hooded dragon.
