TW: Sewerside mention, sensitive topics. I honestly don’t know why mental health is so horrible for recent generations. And one of the best things? We don’t have parents that can relate. Not unless THEY had the most horrible parents and experiences. And then they gaslight us because “Our life was harder!” Have you even tried going to school with a whole fake personality just to please others? Just to feel normal? Just so people don’t mentally beat the crap out of you? I bet if you cried during school when you were a kid, people would be concerned, maybe a bit awkward. We get laughed at. We never live it down. That one day we couldn’t stop sobbing about that one pet that died whenever we couldn’t say goodbye is officially the comedy highlight in class reunions. I’ve heard my friends say they were gonna k!ll themselves because things are getting worse, and I ended up crying myself to sleep, worrying that it was something I had done. “Why hadn’t I helped them? Are they okay? Could I have done something?” The next day? “Oh yeah, it was just a joke! Haha, lol.” SO YOU MEAN MY TEARS THAT COULD FORM RIVERS WERE WASTED ON A JOKE?! I DON’T REMEMBER THAT BEING FUNNY. Idk though, apparently I’m being “over dramatic”. Thoughts? Sorry if this made you uncomfortable.
