[ about me ] hi there! i'm @.honeybeez-, however you may call me bailey. i go by she/her pronouns and use female titles. i'm a pakeha new zealander, my ancestors have been firmly rooted in this country for generations. i have both twice exceptional adhd and social anxiety. i've been on scratch for almost four years now. [ role i'm applying for ] i'll be applying for the leader role! however, i am fine with recieving the deputy role as well. [ clan ] bearclan [ why should i get the role ] i have a multitude of reasons why i should get this role. my primary reason is my activity. i have changed the direction my life is going in for the better, which means i will be minimising stress and anxiety, the main reasons behind any lack of activity i have. this means that i will be able to be very active, which is important for a high rank role. i'll be able to sort things out quickly. so, ceremonies will be out on time and bios will be accepted quickly. i feel like i'm being a bit full of myself here, but i'd say another reason is my roleplay experience. i have been roleplaying for about four years, two onsite. i know basic roleplay cues and all that and can write somewhat indepth if needed. to top it off, i'm patient. i know some people may have less experience than me, and i'm ready to guide them through this all and teach them the basics to help them get started with roleplaying. being patient comes in handy when accepting bios and helping to correct slip-ups. its also just a good skill to have when roleplaying a leader character. [ activity level ] weekend - 9/10 week day - 8/10 [ age ] i am on the younger side, and i'm not all too comfortable sharing my age. i will be sharing it soon though, when i hit my upcoming birthday on the second of may. i'm above the age requirement however. [ strengths ] okay, kind of just going to list all my strengths! patient, active, productive (some days more than others), empathetic (i'm sensitive myself, so i strive to make sure others don't feel like i'm judging/being rude to them) there's probably more, those are my main ones however. [ weaknesses ] adhd gets in the way of a lot of things. it can affect my efficiency with tasks that require a lot of thought or that i'm not all too excited about. that's my main weakness actually, and perhaps one of my only. it is prominent though, and i'm working with strategies to minimise it. [ my coldsnap cat ] my coldsnap kitty is orbitsnow! [ about orbitsnow ] orbitsnow is probably one of the sweetest guys you'll ever meet. he's pretty much everybody's second father. its canon that star makes dad jokes as much as they can. they care deeply for those around them, always checking in on them and making sure they feel well. star'd do everything within his power to make sure they feel good. sometimes, orbit can care a little too much. he's very protective, and sometimes that may affect others, limiting their freedom and such. orbit has trouble seeing his own flaws and won't realise unless somebody says something. (kind of made this a bit too long, i'm sorry for that!) [ why should he become leader ] from what i know about bearclan, orbitsnow seems to be a pretty acurate nutshell representation of them. i feel orbitsnow is the right cat to lead a clan like bearclan. he's forgiving and benevolent, however knows when other cats are abusing his kindness. star has a backbone and won't hesitate to confront another. they would probably try to establish a pretty close relationship with the majority of cats in star's clan, as that's what a leader should do. what's the point of leading if half the cats in your clan hardly know you?
