Go through at least 20 questions on the four core operations - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Any questions left unanswered will be marked as wrong. - Use a calculator ***only if it says you may use one.*** Examples include the Windows calculator (click the calculator icon in your taskbar to bring it up) or a calculator from a store. Alternatively, you may use a sheet of paper to work out your answers; writing things down helps you learn! :) - If you decide to use a calculator when you shouldn't, you may finish faster but not learn anything. That makes certain parts of the test a waste of time. (Cheaters never win!) How well do you know basic operations?
If a question asks you to divide a positive number by zero, enter "Infinity". If it says 0/0, enter 0. If it says (negative number)/0, enter "-Infinity" (without the quotes). Materials: A calculator (optional), paper (highly recommended), and your mind. The project chooses the numbers and operations randomly. Who doesn't love some things to be random? :) For all of those who answered all 20+ questions correctly, you're the best!
