I compiled a bunch of possible areas for Fever Dream and a species ranking system click stage for next backdrop Species Hierarchy: species are broken up into levels based on their average intelligence Level 1: Plantae; primarily consists of plant/autotroph species, they have no knowledge of anything besides basic survival. they typically have some sort of leaves-like feeding system. have zero way of communication, and lack vocal cords Level 2: Animalia; smaller, typically four legged creatures. basic survival is a top priority, but have showed to have interests outside of that. are heterotrophs. have very limit abouts of communication and are feral. Level 3: Beastinary; similar to Animalia but more intelligent. commonly have been seen switching between walking on 4 and 2 legs. have moderate communication skills but fail to fully understand real languages. Level 4: Demipod; a halfway point in between Beastinaries and Anthropods. they share few traits and characteristics with animalias, such as their diets and appearance. they have fairly average communication skills, through struggle at times. Level 5: Anthropod; formally known as humanoids, they all share fairly similar appearance. they walk on two legs, and have fully poseable hands. them sharing resemblance to other species is relatively rare yet not impossible Level 6: Deitaryote; an higher form of Arthropods, that almost reach godlinary-like features. a lot of them cannot be physically harmed in simple ways and or have heavy healing factors. they look relatively similar to the average Arthropod, and most major differences are in their abilities Level 7: Godlinary; also known as deities, they are highly intelligent beings often even having omniscient-like abilities. many Deities are found to be able to make adjustments to their form at will, and can physically look like anything to a certain degree. Areas: Shrooms Forest: one of the largest forest in the dreamscape, being known for their oversized mushrooms which have evolved that way to attract more animals the mushrooms have taken a tree-like place in the ecosystem, with animals getting food from them and making their homes in them. and when the animals die near the mushrooms, they absorb their nutrients and continue the cycle of life. Pool Lands: the Pool Lands is an type of civilization inside of the outer seas of the dreamscape. it consist of buildings both surround and filled with water, and is mostly populated by aquatic demipods. it is widely know for their water parks, and Siren People (which I will be making a project on sooner or later :D) Poly City: a technologically advanced city populated mostly by Tv Heads, Low-Poly People, and other tech-based creatures. (heavily inspired by WebCore) The Farlands: the Farlands are one of the strangest areas in the Farlands. there's no specific location for them, if you walk far enough populated areas during the times 3:30 to 3:33 without anyone else around you'll end up there. it starts out of a long never ending grass field, but warps and changes the more and more you stay in it. its constantly adapting, and changes based on a person's memories. almost as if the land knows you're not meant to be there, begins to form random items and places you've seen before, such as a toy you had as a kid, or a old friend's house you used to go to. the longer you stay the more things from, at a certain point you might even be able to hear voices from the past calling out from just out of view. after long enough the land manages to warp itself to the point where it manages to lead you full circle and you end up back where you started. The Suburns (yes, its spelt 'sub-urns' instead of "sub-urbs): the Suburns are nice cosy urban area, with colors just bright enough to burn your eyes and yet not have you mind that much. (this is also where feyden currently lives-)
