Lily Entry 2 ----- Saturday, day 2 ---- Well... Interesting day. Grace woke me up at, like 3 am, with a phone call. "Ohih-lull" I sleepily answered, slurring my words. "My dad has cancer!" Grace screamed shillily into the phone, catching me off guard. I dropped my phone. "Seriously?" I asked once I got my phone back. "Yes!" "Oh my gosh..." Grace then procceded to tell me all her worries. "Don't worry! Your dad is strong, Grace. He'll make it through." I said when my best friend was catching her breath. "How are you sure?" "I just am. So. I'm tired, unlike you who can live without sleep, I'm going to bed." There was a pause and then Grace said through the phone, "can we stay on the call?" "Yeah, sure. Goodnight girly." "Goodnight" Grace murmured back and then in a matter of seconds I heard her snoring through the phone. She must have passed out from exhaustion. I sighed and then laid back down, rolling onto my side, hoping for peaceful dreams but only finding weird school nightmares. ----
