lore: scratch went down for a day, and while it was down, scratch cat encountered a bug with the "start project flag". he tried to fix it, but it ended up infecting him, and this is basically the result. scratch ( now referred to as starch.sprite3 ) ended up being replaced by a duplicate of himself; the scratch cat that's now in every new project. The bug can't be fixed.
