I'm taking an extended break or just leaving scratch. man I'm really sorry, I always get so annoyed when other people say they're leaving or something but I hope you don't get sad with me .n. It's been a great 3 months on Scratch and I wanna say thank you so much to all of my 296 followers. don't x out this project yet, because I do want to talk a little bit about why I decided to leave. I've been seeing a lot of people leaving too which honestly made me annoyed because I thought they were being dramatic, but now I kind of see why. the thing is, I feel like Scratch is getting a little too serious as far as the art community goes. now it's kind of like a commitment to be on here, there's always things you have to do and I'm finding that I'm basically spending all of my time on Scratch now. as soon as I get home from school around 3:30 I'm always on scratch until at LEAST 7:30 p.m. people are always demanding new projects and things. some people on here are saying that their grades are dropping and they feel that they have so much responsibility on here and feel really pressured. that's so true. there's so many other things I want to do like going out more, and playing more tennis and sports, keep writing a book I started a while ago, and hanging out with my friends. some people on here also are pretty harsh sometimes. people are getting bullied that their art isn't good enough and they suck, which hasn't happened to me yet but me personally I don't want to be here when it does. I really don't want to leave Scratch, but over the weekend I was pretty busy having fun like going to the mall and hanging out with my family but at the end of the day I still felt like I needed to go on Scratch for like 2 hours+ which is kind of concerning. :( I know some people are probably mad at me right now and think I'm dramatic too and blah blah blah but whatever. I think Scratch is awesome but for some people maybe its not the best use of time. I don't really know what else to say :/ people at school are also getting in trouble because of scratch, as crazy as it sounds. not only at my school, but a few other Scratchers also have stories from school computers being monitored and people have gotten in trouble for cyber bullying. I might log back on occasionally to chat with people or something but I'm definitely going to be taking a break. I'm really sorry, please don't get mad because no offense, it's not you're life. nevertheless, thank you guys for making my 3 months on here enjoyable and I'll really miss you all </3
