After Many years of dormancy and Economic unease, an internal conflict in the Sand Empire happened; older, wiser raptors fought for the return of the union while the newer generations fought for the monarchy to stay until a civil war broke loose the two sides. the Desert union nationalist vs the the Monarchy progresionist. The Desert Union Nationalists had a raptor by the name of Twi dusk, a decorated war veteran who was there for the reign of Brinmar and the Jungle Vs Empire war but he believed that the Communist society of the old sand empire was Better. On the side of the monarch progressionist was a raptor named Zalqwi tuus, a young uninteligent thug who gained power by lies. Eventually, after nearly 50 years of fighting, the Communists won, establishing the Dusk Spanse, named after the leader. From that point on, the Dusk Spanse entered a time of technological advancement, making them more advanced than most nations that still used tribal weapons. They used this strength to take on the weaker nations along the coast and capturing a few islands
