How they can qualify: Which ever team has a better record will qualify. THE EXCEPTION is if both teams make the playoffs, then whoever does better in the playoffs will qualify. For example: Minny wins all 4 games, while Oakland loses all. Minny is in. However, if Minny and Oakland both only win 2 games (or any amount but both qualify), then whoever does better in the playoffs will qualify.
