BACKUPS OPEN (deadline to sign up is may 5th) >> hello, and welcome to the camper signups for src's may '25 session! <3 (yes, we are shifting this session by a month, but that will not affect our usual aug+dec sessions!) scratch reading camp, more commonly abbreviated as src, is a triannual reading camp that runs on scratch! it comprises of three sessions (usually) taking place in april, august, and december. during camp you read, participate in various activities, and compete with other cabins! in order to earn points, you complete dailies, weeklies, discussion questions, and more. most of the activities involve reading, and everything read contributes to points counted at the end of camp! camper signups close at midnight utc on april 24th, and you will be informed about which cabin you are sorted into a few days after! we cap the page goals at 10,000 pages. to hit that goal would require you to read over 320 pages each day - which won't be beneficial for your life. remember to follow scratch guidelines and be kind to each other! src aims to provide campers and (co)leaders with an enjoyable experience, so please remember to prioritize your in-person life <33 here is our cabin lineup for may!! capepper | @CatMeowLove7 & @pepper-and-a-pencil lunaya | @luna724 & @lokiously please fill this form below to sign up as a camper : 1. username (without @) 2. timezone (this helps in sorting to have balance, but it's perfectly alright if you're uncomfortable sharing <3) 3. page goal (a good starting goal would be 500-1000 pages - and the maximum you can go is 10,000 pages) 4. activity level from 1-10 (how active will you be during may? are their any events which will occupy you? exams/sports/vacations) 5. your cabin/leader(s) preference 6. a way to notify you (profile comments, a project, your chat studio, etc.) 7. have you participated in src before?
