If you open the curtain, you find what is a cardboard cutout of a shadowman; trying to attack or spare them leads to them just falling over. Attempting to leave after that will have the floor open up behind the curtain, with Rosie and the Friend popping out. Rosie will lead you down the elevator towards the saloon, where she'll talk about needing to get back to her town. Take up the offer (although Ralsei and Toriel decline), and she'll bring you through a journey backstage in which Kris and Susie must journey through mountains of old props and crates. Once they reach the boss room, Rosie reluctantly betrays the duo and fights Kris for their soul. After the fight, regardless of the outcome, Ralsei and Toriel come in and Rosie flees. If you go on, you find Rosie wielding the Trefoil, talking about how this will finally give her freedom. The friend then betrays Rosie, taking on this form and splitting the party. The soul mode for this fight is the blue soul, and you can switch the gravity by pressing the jump button again in midair. During the fight, you have to call out to your allies to bring the party together. Once everyone is together, Kris pulls the string to return Rosie's control. Yes I stole Loggy's speech quirk deal with it. The friend has more words of their own, though.
