Hello-hello! Here we are Ollie’s gamemakers! (Flag and tap there are versions of the art) Art by me, music from undertale Just so you know this probally has some trigger warning so uh leave now or forever rest in piece :D ((For context one of his weaknesses is he cannot swim and has a massive fear of the water <\3)) [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] Olle D12, age 12. [the waiting room] The waiting room was quiet, the clock ticking painfully slow, a lot he tributes were dense in the hallway. Except for one, breaking the silence was Olle, he hated silence! He was humming a tune and he fidgeted with his paws, he could not stay still either, his childlike self sticking out like a sore thumb like always. Suddenly a voice speaks, his ears perked, confused he looked at the other tributes, they sat nervous and looking at the door expectantly “Olle Gardner” his eyes lit up! He was chosen second again! He was really in luck, he stood up happily and padded towards the door where a peacekeeper was standing, “Hey there!” He chimed though they didn’t react, what a grump! Finally he continued through the doors. [the gamemakers] *click* the door behind him locked, well I guess there was no turning back. He suddenly felt like he was teleported to a jungle, the lush forest environment, the mossy floor. It felt so right! Like the forests near home but damper..The smell of water in the air worried him but I guess that normal for lush areas right? They’re bound to be a little humid. He noticed a small black bird in all the greenery, it was strange. He began padding through the greenery towards the skittish bird. So far there was no bugs or animals just the bird, it stood out like him! He picked up a rock, back at home when he was with his friends they would practice throwing rocks at birds or targets! And from what he knew from what the other tributes had said, gamemakers is like a mission you have to complete! But you don’t know what the mission is, so more like a quest “I’m going to complete this quest so fast I’ll-“ His heart dropped, “I’ll” The sound it was Wat-er? His breathing picked up. Maybe it was just a river? Or it was- His ears perked up, all hi muscles tensing in fear. … … He slowly turned his head- “Wh..at?” The water seemingly coming out of nowhere rapidly approached him, he stood frozen until the shadow of the flying black bird passed him. He needed to go, now. He let out a squeal and ran as fast as he could, following the bird, slowly trying to get to higher ground, rocks higher bits of land, but his legs were short he could jump far or run as fast as other tributes- So eventually he was bound to Slip up. The bird was near him now, but so was the water, he was out of breath, pushing his body to his limits, he couldn’t stop he had to do this He had to- catch the bird catch the bird catch the bird he may not know why but if he caught it that had to stop the water right? catch the bird catch the bird catch the bird Like in games, that’s what happens… He felt like he was checking on his own breath, when he tripped, dropping rock he had grabbed ealier, in a moment of panic he grabbed the rock, the water sweating him up. He opened his eyes it burned- he could barely see anything- He could feel the current pushing him faster and faster- His helpless movements seamed to do nothing- Ollie’s eyes widened in shock to her tree branches around, the water almost running him into one and cutting his ear. he winched and reached his paws up in a desperate attempt to catch onto a branch. It worked! He pulled himself up, coughing before looking up, there it was, the bird He looked at the rock. He didn’t have a strong throw, He might miss But it was worth a try. He clutched the branch with one paw and placed the rock in the other, waiting a few moments before throwing it at the bird, Olles heart was racing, he closed his eyes. That small moment felt like a lifetime. The distressed sound of the bird caught his attention he opened his eyes to see he knocked the bird into the water, the roaring current pushing its squirming body to his paws as he caught it. With a click the water began to empty, Olle was still catching his breath, dropping the bird he realized he needed to get down, he climbed off of the tree. He had no thoughts, or anything, he seamed oddly empty. Unlike how he entered he left walking silently with his tail down, not a single spring in his step. As he dried off his thick fur puffed up, making him look as dumb as he felt. He thought he knew what was going on but now he’s questioning everything.. Maybe it was a test? “Awh I defiantly failed” He shrugged. This was a game right?
