I thought the two looked really cool together, so they are now shoved in a story. This isn't actually cannon to the lore of Kalitan, since I'm not expecting to get both of them, but if I do get at least one of them, they themselves will be. :3 Also, I thought it would be funny to add a Hollow Knight reference. XD Story *•*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*•* Adelle shrieked with glee. She'd done it. Again. For the third time. Not that it mattered. It worked! She wasn't insane like everyone else was telling her she was. Here... here was her proof! The black figure in front of her was shaped like a wolf, but whether or not it was one didn't matter to her. No one believed her when she told them that about her discovery. Just brushed it off as another crazy story from 'little old Adelle.' But now, she could finally tell everyone, _show_ everyone, that none of her words were lies. The black figure tilted what she presumed was it's head, it's soulless eyes seemingly staring straight through her. "Your mine." She whispered greedily. The make-shift door she had slammed open as a wolf stood there, annoyed. "Adelle. Shut up. It's literally 3 in the morning." "It's the witching hour! It has to be now." Her idiotic brother stared at her, his tail twitching. "Sure. And wheres your little experiment now?" "Here!" She whirled around to where the figure once stood, but it was nowhere to be seen. She flicked her tail. "No, no! It was here! Where did it go?" She snarled. Her brother rolled his eyes. "Sure. Go to bed. I'm /sure/ it'll appear in the morning." "It has to be now!" "Whatever." Her brother vanished from the doorway. She growled. He wouldnt understand the genius of this. Of course he wouldn't. He wasn't smart enough to comprehend things like this. She wouldn't give up now. Not when she was so close. All she had to do was capture the black figure. Then no one could call her crazy again. She paused, trotting around the room. "Where'd you gooooo?" She said slowly, peeking in every hiding spot she could see. She was running out of time. She had to find it. As soon as the witching hour was over, any and all chance at this would be lost. She had go do this. She took a step forward, yelping when something hard crunched under her paws. Lifting them up, she frowned at two skulls. One now had a crack through it, but it seemed to be intact. She picked them up. They certain weren't there before. A cool breeze went throughout the room. 'You touched them.' An ancient voice spoke in her mind. She whipped her head up, seeing the figure float in front of her. 'And for that, you will be severely punished.' "Wa-wait! It was an accident!" She could barely speak the words before the black smoke surrounding the figure encircled her. Pain shot through her bones. Something was going on. She whimpered, daring not to scream. As the smoke vanished she breathed out a sigh of relief as the pain too disappeared. She shook herself, pausing halfway. Something was off. Her tail felt.... strange. She swished it. Yes. Something was different with them. There was two? And they were...bigger? She glanced back, stiffling a yelp. Where her tail had previously been, two large hands replaced it. They were both holding one of the skulls. "What in Kalitan is this?" She yelped again. It was incredibly hard to control them. They were far too heavy, and would certainly take some getting used to. She shrieked with glee. Maybe she couldn't prove the existance of the ghost, but she could certainly show everyone this. She stumbled out of the room, her hand-tails dragging behind her. "Jake! You wouldn't believe what just happened!" She trotted into his room, where he was laying asleep. She rolled her eyes, nudging him with her nose. "Jake! Wake up!" He muttered something unintelligible as he opened his eyes. He shot up, and back away snarling at her. "Get out of my house, stranger." Adelle frowned. "What are you talking about? We're pupmates." "No, we're not." He snarled, bearing his teeth. Adelle froze. Her own family didn't remember her? 'You will be punished for touching them.' She realized what her own stupidity had failed to understand. While the hands itself now tied her down, no one knew her. She suspect that no one that knew her would. No one to believe the claims she made. She would just be a monster. She didn't know what to do. She could try to convince people, but that wold once again solidify 'crazy Adelle.' So she ran.
