casually finding these via @ItsXpert and wanting to do it too: 1Q: Who / what inspired you to become an artist? 1A: honestly, i think it was @SkittlesTheBunny 2Q: If you could collaborate with any scratch artist, who would it be? 2A: that's gonna need some considering. im not as active as i used to be so.... 3Q: What is your favorite medium? (digital, paper, paint, etc.) 3A: Digital for actual drawings, traditional/paper for quick doodles 4Q: What was your favorite cartoon as a child (or now) and how does / did it effect or inspire your art 4A: i dont actually remember tbh 5Q: What is your favorite posted art piece? link it! 5A: originally it was the half lineless one with Violet and her phoenix form, but now it was overtaken by an experimental view-from-above drawing of her and Said. (i have not posted it here on Scratch yet tho. so DA's gonna be your way to find it.) https://www.deviantart.com/rabbitofflames/art/nighttime-1175752049 6Q: What is your LEAST favorite posted art piece? link it! 6A: cant exactly tell but my first thought was that experimental lineless virus infection. the head overall just didnt feel right to me, but i otherwise liked the clothing (go find it if you dare. i dont wanna link that.) 7Q: What’s the best piece of advice you have for baby artists? 7A: go ahead and combine different styles and techniques you learn from other artists and dont be like my younger self, USE SOME SKETCHES IF YOU WANT A GOOD CHARACTER FORM!! 8Q: How do you overcome art block? 8A: chibis. nothing more nothing less. CHIBIS. 9Q: How long have you been an artist? 9A: dont exactly remember when i first started drawing. but once i got to around the end of that volcano section of the old outdated Larvara storyline (im planning to rewrite it), that's where i started trying to get a proper style. i still have an unused thumbnail of Catty that i oddly liked the style for 10Q: If your a digital artist, what software do you do art on? (ibis, kleki, photoshop, krita, etc.) 10A: Kleki. i tried Krita but it was too advanced for me to get used to. i plan to try out Medibang eventually. 11Q: Whos your fav scratch artist? 11A: @ItsXpert as of now. plus i found this quiz through her lol 12Q: What other social media platforms do you post on? 12A: DeviantArt. there's another as well but i cant say it without Scratch attacking me for it 13Q: Are you better on paper or digital? 13A: digital. it just feels right and i can actually get more colorful and play around with the textures 14Q: When doing digital art, what device do you use? 14A: Desktop PC (two monitors, right one for drawing) with a hand-me-down stylus tablet/pen from my father. been using it for a couple years now (and no it does not have a screen) 15Q: What can you draw best? (Humans, animals, bugs etc.) 15A: about a mix of anthros, humans, and animals. anthros just feel more satisfying, can mess with the body language better {like the paws}, and i can play around with the textures even more 16Q: Are you good at drawing backgrounds? 16A: about average. i spend most of my drawing time focusing on the characters, not the background. so the backgrounds are usually rushed 17Q: Are you good at animating 17A: not really, but it's my DREAM. i just cant find a good 2d animating program for A PC, i keep getting recommended mobile exclusives, and im NOT A MOBILE USER *sob* 18Q: Do you listen to music while you create? If so, what are your go-to songs or artists? 18A: a wild variety. i usually listen to whatever fits the meaning or vibe of whatever im drawing. 19: How do you handle mistakes in your art? 19A: if it's an early mistake like let's say it's in the sketch stage, i fix it as i go. if it's a late mistake like after coloring or worse, textures, then i struggle to make it look right 20Q: If you could use only five supplies (traditional) for the rest of your life, what would they be? 20A: Sketch Paper. Pencil(s). Eraser. Ruler. (for putting a frame around the drawing) Sharpener. (Continued in Notes/Credits)
21Q: How often do you draw? 21A: usually 1-3 times a week. i wanna pull a full week of drawings at some point. (i tried to do that recently but i lost motivation after the april fools chicken doodle) 22Q: How would you describe your style? 22A: my parents tend to call my drawings cartoony mixed with textures. i can see why. (i otherwise dont know how to describe it.) 23Q: Have you ever done an animation meme? If so which one? 23A: three actually. Teenage Dream, Till It's Over, and Tag You're It. all of which were made a couple years ago, and i plan on redoing them once i figure out an animating strategy. (i DEFINITELY plan to do a new version of Till It's Over) 24Q: Have you ever painted? Were you good at it? 24A: yes but i dont think it's as good as my usual drawings. it feels too bland, and im too impatient to wait for the layers to dry before painting again. 25Q: If you had to create a piece of art using only one color, which one would you choose? 25A: it depends on the character(s) and/or background/landscape. if going with the usual (mascot kitty Violet.) maybe blue. 26Q: Are you able to do realism? 26A: kind of..? im not a lineless person unless it comes to patterns 27Q: What is the most challenging part of being an artist? 27A: for me it's trying to find a good enough pose in the first place. sometimes i redraw the sketch parts (erasing the parts until they're faintly visible so i can compare and/or reuse it) 28Q: (if you can draw animals) Whats is your favorite to draw? And what is an animal that is impossible to draw? 28A: CATS CATS CATS CATS CA- *ahem* personally i've found a style for each animal i drew so far. i might update this again if i come across that problem 29Q: How many characters do you have? 29A: as of the time writing this and last time i checked, about 660+ ocs (most of which i either never used or only used once or twice ever) 30Q: At the end of the day, what do you hope people take away from your art? 30A: i hope im reading this correctly... i really dont mind people learning new techniques n stuff from me. i even sent a lot of my friends a couple sketches of drawings i've already finished so they could get the idea on how to build the characters up.
