Description

NOTE This game was shown during the SOAR Program of Howard County (MD) during the summer of 2016. The game has now been adopted as tradition by the teachers, and will be shown every year. OTHER NOTE Sorry about the bitmap graphics. This needed to run in Phosphorus, so vector couldn't work... INTRO This game was designed for children with autism to learn about the zones of regulation. INSTRUCTIONS Choose the zone of regulation that best fits each picture. Getting the question correct gives you a point. Getting it incorrect makes you lose a point. WHAT ARE ZONES OF REGULATION? Zones of regulation are emotions grouped by how much energy the person has. You should strive to be in the Green zone. BLUE- LOW ENERGY Tired, sleepy, sad, bored, scared, etc. GREEN- BALANCED ENERGY Happy, calm, focused, curious, joyful, thoughtful, etc. YELLOW- RAISED ENERGY Excited, scared, anxious, uncomfortable, angry, etc. RED- TOO MUCH ENERGY Terrified, furious, elated, etc. Music is 1000 Pounds of Sunshine by EternalSushi. Pictures are from google.
