Mmm lore time I’ll use CRK +genshin analogies so I can think of how to word it. Under my asumption that soul jams are like souls, or at least like Gnosis-es, Then each beast/ ancient is or was a god. Therefore, it’s possible for entirely different beings to both have the soul jam at different times. Uriel and Vermi are very different personalities, though some think they used to be the same before Astrean’s death. They usually don’t share a body, though, and look entirely different.
