LYRICS: out the way, gotta get my fix should we care if the colours mix cause we're all different some weirder than all take our little risks and spin these discs because in control someone's old life is your treasure savouring each new endeavour so if I'd look inward maybe we're same at core turn the lights off now I'm buried deep in the sand god's a liar cause least hell knows who i am rocks rip out my heart and scrape my face ruined now its all fleeting disgrace who was at fault why did it take so long why must i keep singing the same old song here in heaven yet its cardinal sin what's the point of splitting the light as it dims someone please tell me it's not true! hearts stuck in time and bound by glue straight from my hands is this really wonderland? for me and you all goes amiss without a clue... so if it's really so burnt all bridges and you face me with disgust harsh looks in your eyes, now i beg you to understand i wished the best now it crumbles it's my cruel fate

Description

Forgotten... Damned be the faithful, LORE! Written by Emzy and Bubster One day, Angus and his friend Gary had a fight. It was just between the two of them, but Angus hit Gary on the head with a thick metal bar. Shocked and drugged, Angus thought he'd killed him, so he took him to the woods and half-heartedly buried his body before running away. Gary wakes up with a fuzzy memory and no idea how to get home. He finds a pay phone, but no one answers. After a few months, he finds his way back to town and goes straight to Angus's house. Angus suffers from guilt; Gary's family constantly texts him about their pain. He begs Max to come over one night, intending to confess what happened. However, that same night, minutes before Max's arrival, Angus goes to carry some boxes up to the attic and finds his friend once again, his face scratched by rocks and dirt hidden behind a mask, and now he's here seeking revenge. Midway through the song, Max joins in, frustrated with Angus, but also trying to calm the fight. Max finally gets Gary to leave the house, and Gary utters a few last words as he closes the door. In the scene after the song, Max confesses something of his own. His hatred for Angus. The hatred of everyone. In Angus's mind, everyone was his friend, but in reality, Max and the others thought he was antisocial, more hateful than anything else. Angus is speechless as the reality he once knew collapses around him. Four years later, well, you can guess what went through his mind. But that's for another chapter...
