Instructions

Turbo mode recommended (for rendering dots). Battleship is a two player game where each player places five ships: A Destroyer (2 pegs long), a Submarine (3 pegs long), a Cruiser (3 pegs long), a Battleship (4 pegs long), and an Aircraft Carrier (5 pegs long). At the start of the game, the ships are randomly placed for you. You may drag the ships around, pressing R or the space bar to rotate them. You go first. Take five shots, and try to hit one of the CPU's ships! When it's the CPU's turn, it will fire back at you. When you start losing ships, you won't have as many shots per turn. Be careful, the computer has a tendency to cleverly place ships! The score system was recently added, and is still being worked on! Your score may go down in the middle of the game, but this should be fixed soon!

Description

Take a look at my other Battleship game - it has a completely different theme! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/120810153/ Thanks for featuring! Hope you enjoy this project! Based on the game Battleship. Music from Pirates of the Caribbean. I was inspired to make this game after seeing @Paddle2See Battleship game. The sounds of hitting, missing and sinking ships are also from his version of the game. Main menu has clip art from google. Other than that, this project was programmed solo by @zorket. It took a few days to develop. Check out the original, my remix of @Paddle2See game: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1589290/ Featured September 5th, 2016 :)
