"The storm alone must cross the sky, for sun and moon shall soon unite..." ☾ ⋆*･ﾟ:⋆*･ﾟ ~Bio~ Name: Stormstrike Gender: Male Backstory (I know, it’s pretty long): The unnamed kit, who would later become known as Stormstrike, was found abandoned beside the Theunderpath by a patrol of SunClan warriors. He was brought to SunClan where he was given the name Stormkit, and raised by his adopted parents (Mintwillow and Rainstrike) and adopted sister (Sorrelkit, later known as Sorrelspring). As an apprentice, Stormpaw was quick to learn and an excellent fighter. Though some of his clanmates questioned his loyalty because he wasn’t Clanborn, Stormpaw’s family always stood up for him, and loved him like he was their own. Soon he received his warrior name, Stormstrike. Then the SunClan medicine cat received a prophecy that “The storm alone must cross the sky, for sun and moon shall soon unite.” and believed it was about Stromstrike. So the young warrior was sent on a quest, alone, following the path of the sun, with only a vague prophecy to guide him. Along the way he ran into some foxes, and his life was saved by a rogue she-cat named Mist. But Stromstrike was seriously injured and forced to return home to SunClan, believing that he had failed the quest. Mist came with him, and when they returned, Stromstrike found that his father had died of Greencough and his mother and sister had become cold and distant. Then Mist revealed that she was his biological mother, and Stormstrike was shocked. When Mist wanted him to come live with her, he felt torn between a life in the Clan with the family he’d always known and a rouge life with his true mother. In the end, Stormstrike chose the Clan, but he also felt that he’d been pressured to do so. When he told Mist, she was very angry and soon left without saying goodbye. Stromstrike strongly regretted that he hadn’t gone with Mist instead. This deepened into remorse when Mist’s body was found lying beside the Theunderpath, several moons later. Stormstrike was devastated, though he barely knew her, and he blamed himself for the accident. But his clanmates and family were cold and unsympathetic, and Stormstrike became bitter and angry. Finally he tried to confront his mother, Mintwillow about how he felt, but she seemed distracted and disinterested. So Stormstrike ran away, far from SunClan territory. On his first night alone, he was captured by strange cats–cats from a Clan that he’d never even heard of: MoonClan. They took him to their camp, and he was challenged to a fight with the Clan leader, Shalestar. Stormstrike’s life was saved by the leader’s daughter, Ivystream, who convinced her father to spare Stormstrike’s life. Stormstrike told the MoonClan cats he was a rogue, and asked if he could stay with them for a while. Shalestar agreed and for many moons Stormstrike lived with them and learned their ways. He became very close to Ivystream, and eventually, the two of them fell in love. Stormstrike had found a place where he could be himself, where no cat judged him or expected him to be a certain way. But then cats started attacking MoonClan… SunClan cats. And in one great battle Stormstrike came face to face with his sister, Sorrelspring. She was shocked to see him fighting on the side of the cats she believed were no more than brutal rogues. But then the SunClan leader took one of Shalestar’s nine lives and the battle ground to a halt. Stormstrike and Ivystream stood together in the midst of all the cats, and proclaimed that the fighting had to stop. Sorrelspring came to stand beside them, followed by their mother, Mintwillow who was overjoyed to see that her son was alive and apologized for the way she had treated him before he left. Soon almost all the other cats had joined them, including the two Clan leaders. And suddenly Stromstrike remembered the prophecy: “The storm alone must cross the sky, for sun and moon shall soon unite.” He had done it; he had crossed the sky, and united the clans. He had found a place where he truly belonged, with Ivystream, a cat he truly loved.
