Birch was born an unlucky dragon. No matter what he told anyone, they all though he was part Leafwing- In which the hivewing queen got word of this. She had Birch taken into custody and kept in a special sanctuary inside her palace to keep an eye on everything he did. She did not like him either. One day she questioned him about his lineage and got angry, attacking him and leaving Birch with the scar on his snout. to this day he's stuck with the metal bands around his wrists and neck from Queen wasp. and he's still afraid of hivewings
