The soldiers in the pockets owned by madrid would expand. With new troops coming in (such as ghost division…) the troops would expand more faster, and with tripods arriving aswell, more destruction could be caused. Madrid would send in jets, and tripods. And would ramp up the usage of martian gas. More cities would be burned, and people would be executed if they defied madrids rule. Bombing raids would be conducted over key strategic areas, and factories would be destroyed slowing the upolish war effort, and putting it to a halt. Supply routes would be blown, and destroyed preventing the Upolish from getting any supplies, but this would slow madrids advance a bit though. Flamethrowers would also be used, and chrono-guns would see a rise. Ghost division, made entirely up of women (they are the soldier on the far left, with the grey/purple mask) would easily put down any rebellions, and forcibly assert their rule. They would commit some of the worst war crimes, as they are made of some insane people, and is basically the madridian version of germany’s “dirliwanger brigade”. The clock has struck the 2nd hour….
