Air is sucked in by the impeller, then compressed… by the impeller, slowing it down, and then, the now compressed air goes to the combustion chamber in which fuel is sprayed into the air, creating a fuel-air mixture, which then is ignited by a spark/glow plug, creating lots of hot gas that shoots out of the exhaust, creating thrust using newtons 3rd law of motion (for every action, there is a reaction).
