You didn't see this coming, didn't you? Basic run down of the lore: GoLoco and D-Rail are both competitors with most of their mainlines in Blaine County. GoLoco mostly bypasses Sandy Shores and Grape seed while D-Rail snakes around the Alamo Sea, through Sandy Shores and over the Raton Canyon, to Paleto Bay where both railroads interchange. The railroads converge just outside of LS and ownership of trackage goes over to the Terminal Railroad of Los Santos, owns all the trackage in LS. This happened in the mid 80s as the trackage owned by D-Rail and GoLoco had gotten so bad the government just took all the trackage in LS city limits by force in attempt to refurbish it. They turned the street running on Poplar Avenue into a trench, and that was it. No other improvement projects happened. D-Rail and GoLoco have trackage rights to the Port of LS while TRLS has a small fleet of switchers that switch the port and other industries in LS. The final railroad is the US Army which operates a small shortline that goes from Fort Zancudo and interchanges with D-Rail in Sandy Shores. This railroad is primarily used to transport arms and equipment in and out of the military base.
