UPDATE: Deadline extended to 4/12 Your heart palpitates as you sit in the dark room, the floor cool against your paws. Glancing at the clock, you close your eyes in disappointment. As the clock ticks, each second becomes more unbearable than the last. That is, until the loudspeaker clicks. All tributes, who are lined up along the walls, look up in anticipation, waiting for their name to be called. Yet it is /your/ name that is called, and you rise slowly, making your way to the door at the end of the hall. You can still feel the piercing gazes of the other tributes follow you as you slip through the door. Almost immediately, you step into a dense forested environment. A slippery moss-like plant coats the ground, and hundreds of trees sprawl in every visible direction. Peering through the bushes, you notice a small bird, pecking the ground unassumingly. However, one step too close causes it to screech in terror and flee deeper into the room. You tilt your head, unsure of what to do. The sound of nearby rushing water, however, does not give you time to think. Behind you is a deluge of water beginning to sweep you off your paws. The bird of paradise ahead of you flitters through the brush, squawking with fear as the water is now roaring, forcing you to move onwards as you chase the bird through the jungle. Catch your target, and do not let the torrent catch up to /you/. Each tribute has now been assigned a varying bird of paradise to hunt and catch. After being caught, the flowing rapids will cease. The Gamemakers are the biggest opportunity for your tribute to up their sponsor chances, graded based off a hidden rubric out of 12 points. Meaning, the Gamemaker CRP is not based off of quality of writing, but rather, how your tribute interacts with the environment and shows off their skills. Gamemakers will be due Saturday, April 5th at the end of the day. You will likely receive a grade in the following week. Extensions are not offered as all training events are optional, this is a hard deadline to ensure the round goes by smoothly without mods having to backtrack and possibly extend the training time.
