acheron is evacuated before being orbital strikes by multiple MWI-15s being escorted by a whole fleet of GSD Is. half the planet is now wrecked and uninhabitable. a few of your forces still remain though and acheron along with it's moons are technically captured by you.
you can still harvest resources and such from the non destroyed side of the planet. the radiation levels on the destroyed side are so high though that anything or anyone in there will melt and disintegrate.
