RANT: ___ Guys, I'm sorry: I just can't work with the due dates anymore. Most times, I end up pushing them back, and this time I STILL went over it by a day. It's really just not possible to be SO consistent for someone with my schedule. On top of that, it's very stressful to work with due dates. I am constantly worrying about them during my week, and always feel bad when I have to push them back a second week. But I have gotten advice: Why deal with due dates when you are doing a comic for fun? Why not just abolish them? Well here I am, finally doing that. Please know that I will of course keep the chapters coming in as soon as I possibly am able to, and that this DOES NOT mean in ANY way that I will take forever to complete a chapter. This just means that I don't have to see a glaring due date sign and worry about passing it. Now, I can still get the comic done quickly, but without the extra stress. This also does NOT mean that I will necessarily follow a pattern like an "invisible due date" where everyone assumes it's coming out once a week. No, I will complete it ASAP, but it will not necessarily follow a schedule. Now for the hard part I have to say: I don't owe you guys ANYTHING. This comic is mine, and I do it for RECREATION. This means that I do it FOR FUN. I don't HAVE to stay on track of due dates if I don't feel like it. And I certainly am not breaking the law if I don't. I set the due dates MYSELF, people, and I don't always expect to follow them. Besides, what are they giving me that is essential to me? Money? No! I do it FREE. So I don't NEED to. Heck, I don't even need to continue this comic! But I do, for you guys, and for myself. This is to help me develop my art style and grow as an artist. For you, this is giving you entertainment and maybe even inspiration, idk. But please know: I hold myself to my OWN standards. I don't need you guys to. I'm not even saying that you do. So far, everyone has been encouraging and amazing, but please know that the main point is: I do this for fun, and I don't want to feel stressed about doing something for fun, because then why would you do it?
