She wanted to be happy, she really did. But she couldn't. Not when she just lost whom she thought was her true love to the rich girl. Betty wondered what James would think about the magnificent structure. 'No, it doesn't matter now, she thought. James wouldn't care. He abandoned her. She can't think about him.' She turned her back away from the castle, but just couldn't. It was a late August night, so the sun would stay up a few more hours. Then tomorrow was Monday so she must work as a waitress. 'The rich girl that James dumped her for didn't have to work. Life is unfair.' Betty had to accept that. 'But what would James sat if they ever got back together... no, don't think about that. He's gone. But maybe not... the rich girl likes him now. They even sleep together.' Betty walked away from the castle, never to see it again.
