(they kinda made some lore for her sorry if it doesn't fit Rue-) The lines by here mouth are cut scars that Eclipse gave her, and the stripes by her eyes mean that her role in the circus is being a clown. Eclipse cut her mouth to convince her to obey him and act like you're happy. She also is only allowed to wear her dress and nightgown, but never her overalls and T-shirt, because Eclipse doesn't want her to be happy or comfortable with who she is??? Idk, he's just trying to change her by doing that I guess
