[TW: Mentions of d3ath] And then Cavern eased off. Lowol gave an involuntary sigh of relief, and then his heart filled with dread. "Why didn't you k!ll me?" Lowol said uneasily. "..." "Why?" he rasped. "..." "I'm not going to give you the information just because you tried to k1ll me." "...I couldn't kill you." Cavern finally said. "What?!" "...you wouldn't understand. It doesn't matter." Cavern said. Her plan had failed again. This vel'avair feared nothing, it seemed. She sighed, and looked at his stall. I should search it, she thought. He couldn't stop her. She knew she was stronger. And so she stomped over to it and began digging through the books. Lowol watched, still stunned from Cavern's bizarre statement. After a while, Cavern came upon a book labeled "The Dark Magic of Faelinea". Grinning cruelly, she prepared to open it. But before she could, a brown paw swiped forward and yanked it from her paws. She turned to Lowol, ready to chase him, but he turned to the one place she could not follow: the sky. "CURSE YOU!" she screeched after him. She ran below him, but he drifted higher and higher, and he was soon out of sight. There would be no way to find him on the ground. ...She needed flight.
