Original TOPH So. I think that Boulderpatch and Dovestrike are Dave’s kids, and when the fire happened, they scattered and seeing as they couldn’t find Dave, they thought he was de@d. So they left to the clans to start new. Benny/Houndflight had escaped from the fire, we know that, but he also thought that everyone diėd too. And then he found Monarchpaw. Dave, seeing as everyone was gone, stayed at their old place, and presumed everyone diêd. Then he was venturing and found Perfectpaw. And since he never went to a gathering, he never knew they were alive. Boulderpatch/Jack had cheered for Houndflight because he knew him. BUT Houndflight never knew he was there. The reason Dovestrike was astonished by Houndflight was because the she never met him. And her father prolly went on a hunt for food, and didn’t know what happened.
