Doom for pastaOS is now here for pastaOS Lai Fun and newer! Feel free to submit your apps to the Pear App Store via pastaOS Developer 18 and the Pear App Store studio's methods and review processes. It may be rigorous for some, but it ensures the quality, security, and privacy of apps on the Pear App Store.
Just install the app ID of "doom" in the Pear App Store to install the app. It may be an iFrame, but it works, much like Sonic CD on pastaOS does. Scratch Team, I do NOT host nor control the content in this pastaOS app's iFrame link, and it is nowadays very pixelated and blocky due to the technology back in the 90s that ID Software had to work with, much like Minecraft's art style, and is a bunch of 2D sprites and primitive 3D effects, so it is in no way realistic enough to count as "too scary or gory for young users" as it is a game from the 90s with very primitive graphics and is in no way as realistic as modern FPS games would be. It doesn't even have jumpscares anyway! This app won't run on pastaOS Chicken Carbonara and older due to the Pear App Store format and repository change. pastaOS Lai Fun has also been changed to only use external apps from the Pear App Store due to users making malware for pastaOS, so the only true solution would be to ensure a safe and curated selection of pastaOS apps users can trust and would have a strict review process, which ensures pastaOS malware such as Mosquito, TOMB, INFECT, and various others don't get distributed and created as much.
