most of this is hypothetical so no promises on anything actually happening Ok so basically what is going on here is that I have this oc story that I really care for and think about really often and overall really love. I might eventually do something bigger with it offsite, such as maybe publishing a webcomic or something (hypothetically). The thing is, some of the major characters are designed by people on scratch, which makes it hard to do stuff offsite due to stuff relating to crediting people and whether I’m even allowed to do this in the first place and generally limits on what I can do with the character, which complicates things. So uh I don’t know what to do so please give me some advice I was thinking to maybe create new designs for these characters but I already feel pretty to attached to these characters so it would be hard to create new designs, and I would also not know what to do with these characters’ old designs if I successfully create new designs since I’m also attached to them but don’t really have anything to do with them if I have new designs Also once I finish owed art I plan on taking a hiatus from scratch to focus on school *coughs in exams* and also just enjoy life and make art for myself, but that likely won’t be for a while considering the amount of art debt I’m in :sob: I honestly don’t really feel motivated to design and do stuff related to art on scratch at least so a break would be good One of my goals is to make more art for myself, not scratch though I might eventually post art dumps during or after my hiatus I’m still going to be somewhat active though (to keep track of my wonderful lovely ocs and to just interact ig idk) but it won’t be as active as before as in I likely won’t participate in many dts/ats/dtas/otas/whatever (again this is all hypothetical) Thanks for coming to my ted talk/delusional yapping session/whatever the heck this is
