Instructions

Controls: -WAD to move -Click near grappling points to swing from them -While grappling, drag the mouse to the opposite direction from the grapple point that you want the player to travel. This is similar to the "Getting Over It" controls. Just think of it like you're throwing the player. Notes: -I tried to explain the code a bit in the comments. I also broke up the code into functions that are hopefully easier to understand. -The player's code is kind of complicated, but if you put time into it you might be able to understand it. -WE CAN DEFINITELY CHANGE THE ART. I just made this art for the demo to make it presentable. We can even do pixel art if you prefer. Honestly, whatever's the most artist friendly. Feedback this needs: -Are the controls intuitive? -Are the controls too strong or too light? -Is the grappling hook too powerful? -Are the tiles a good size? (Their size can be easily changed if need be) -Does the code make any sense? -Is the editor easy enough to use? Could it be made better? -Is the player easy enough to control? -Is the player fast enough or maneuverable enough, or too much of either? -Is it fun? Credits: @griffpatch for tile collision code @finnagin5 for the tile renderer and everything else
