It was the night before it happened, everything was great! the circus thrived and lived brightly, I didn't need a god then, my life was perfect, until. I walk back inside the carnival, I didn't hear any greetings whatsoever, it was as if the silence swallowed everybody I knew, there was nobody inside but only ink splatters that seemed to been dragged to the storage room, I looked down hesitantly at the ink, my heart pounded even if I didn't even HAVE one! I just hope it wasn't what I thought, I hope it was a nice birthday cake just for me! or one of my friends! I slowly and yet carefully follow the trail of blood, the smell felt intruding in my software, I opened the small curtains to the storage room and then entered inside the storage room carefully, I paused in my tracks to see him.. dead.. on the ground, as if someone ripped his heart right out of his chest and his shattered screen, I stepped away and stumbled back, kicking my legs to make me hit the closest cabinet, I stayed quiet before rushing to his body and holding it close by my side. "no.. NO!! NO NO NO PLEASE!" I sobbed, continuing to pull him close to me, his fragile body dangling. I shook my head in disbelief as I gently placed it on his shoulder, it was too long yet too short, his lifespan ended like a flash, hearing footsteps I looked back to see another droid standing, laying my eyes to who I saw, The curtains covered the figure, I couldn't see him.. or her really.. all I saw was small antlers if I'm suppose. "Goodnight." I heard before a saw small fires form in the curtains, as it formed I dropped Hopsies body and looked at the closest exit, none but I could cut my way free.. hopefully, using my sharp teeth the fabric broke and cutten up, before I left, i looked at hopsies body, taking his bowtie and running out, because of the ink that poured, all i heard was a huge explosion as I ran from the carnival, the explosion boosted me farther away from it, crashing on the ground and cracking the side of my screen and powering off.. thats all I remember.
