design by @kaylaf0xgirl humanoid form + art by me BACKSTORY: Ash is a nineteen-year-old girl who used to sell train tickets at a run-down station outside of the city. One day, she brought up her job to her friends, and they said that they'd never heard of the station before. Ash started to search more and more to find a record of it, but there was just nothing there. She still didn't think much of it, until she mentioned it in conversation with one of the people she was selling tickets to. "Well, of course not," the customer told her. "Your friends are alive." Ash asked customer after customer, and they all said the same thing: they were dead. Ash was scared at first, but then she realized that none of the ghosts had ever hurt her. They just wanted to get to the other side, wherever the train led to. So, Ash kept on working. Why should she care if all her customers were ghosts? One day, Ash got curious about where the train led. When she tried to board, the ghosts on board wouldn't let her, so she made a mask to blend in with the ghosts. When she wears the mask, she can ride the train over to the city of ghosts that lies on the other side. She loves her job, and loves meeting all the ghosts at her station. But there's another station in her world, run by another human girl. And this one leads to somewhere much worse. She's met this girl before, in the ghost world. And she doesn't know what will happen if the other ticket-seller finds out who she is beneath the mask. Neither of them know who the other is in the human world, but they may just know each other there...
