Your paws hit the ground of your chariot as you mentally prepare yourself to present yourself in front of the capitol, the millions who will be watching. Dr. Logios and Corporal Mercury have already blessed you with their encouraging words, instilling confidence into your mind. But, that confidence sways as the ground suddenly shifts discomfortingly beneath you. The curtains of your so-called chariot are drawn aside, and you realize that your original impression of the parade- various floats and chariots parading across the runway set aside for them- was completely thrown to the wind. Quite literally, as you find yourself suspended who knows how high in the air. Spectators gaze up at you, cheering yours and the other tribute's names as you realize your chariot is suspended by a giant, flying lantern, functioning as a hot air balloon. Hundreds of feet into the sky, you begin to gracefully drift down towards your avid fans and supporters. You stare down at the Capitol spectators, who then pull out their own flying paper lanterns, each one shining in one of twelve vibrant colors- one for each district. They quickly drift up to your altitude, and soon you and the rest of the tributes are surrounded by a rainbow of lights, a fantastical and mesmerizing sight. District 1: Gold District 2: Rose Quartz District 3: Electric Blue District 4: Seafoam Green District 5: Bright Amber District 6: Metallic Silver District 7: Forest Green District 8: Lavender Purple District 9: Wheat Yellow District 10: Tangerine Orange District 11: Olive Green District 12: Charcoal Black For those new to THGRP, the Parade is an optional event that can boost your sponsor score (probability to get a arena gift) in the arena. Sponsors, in THGRP, are decided based on your scores from these training events. Your scores will be averaged out, and if above a certain threshold, can increase your chance of winning a sponsor (it is in a raffle-system). Write a short closed roleplay excerpt based off of the prompt/description provided above to be entered. Parades are your tribute's debut into society, their first public appearance. You will be graded off of a hidden rubric out of 5, based on how much the Capitol enjoyed your tribute's performance. Meaning, the Parade CRP response is not graded based on quality of writing, but rather, your tribute's interactions with the environment and their performance. Parades will be due by Friday, March 28th, at the end of the day. You will likely receive a grade in the following week. Extensions are not offered, this is a hard deadline to ensure the round goes by smoothly without mods having to backtrack and possibly extend the training time. Do not forget: you must remix this project, with your tribute's name first in the title, and post your entry to be considered, otherwise, your entry will not be read or graded. Please also place your tribute's name and District above your parade entry to help us grade! art by @Banana203 description by @firestar77777774 and @Tsu_Suki music is rondeau des fleurs et des rapieres from Genshin Impact
