~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello everyone! I present to you "Rewrite The Stars: A Sun and Moon DTAE AMV"! This has been something I've been working on since March, and as you can see, I've made very little progress on :D *Ahem* THANK YOU FOR PROCRASTINATING BRAIN Well, even though it's still a WIP, it's my finished entry for this. Mostly entering for Moon (at least I tried). Yes, I know, there's an art style change (this happened, like, the last few slides because I found an easier way to draw cats lol) And, yeah, I kind of just realised the inconsistency in the pocket watches *cough cough nottherehalftheAMV cough cough* But, oh well. I had fun making this anyway :D Enjoy! TW: Contains scenes that might make motion sickness(?) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lore: Long before time, there was an ancient order of celestial spirits, one for each element, and even one for each planet. Out of this order was Moon and Sun. At first, the avoided each other, knowing the sacred laws of the order; each opposing element was only to do its job with each other, and have nothing more to do with them. But, after a while, something changed. Sun changed. He began to question these laws, why he and Moon could never interact. The answer he got was simply because opposing elements, well, opposed each other. It was just how things were, and it was not up to them to decide. This sparked something deep within Sun's heart, until one day, he finally got the courage. He finally spoke with Moon. It was their secret, no one else knew, and they kept it that way for years. What Moon never noticed was that Sun had started to grow a different feeling towards her, and, though she did her best to ignore it, she did too. Then, one awful day, things took a turn to something both hoped would never happen. Upon doing their orders, they had been sent with Nature, a leafy green she-cat with dark amber eyes, matching the splotches of brown that dappled her pelt under the leaves scattered throughout her body. She went off to complete her half of the mission and came back only to find Moon and Sun talking with each other. But it wasn't just talking that got her. It was the fact that they seemed to be friends with one another. Her pelt bristled as she flew over to them, snarling her accusations at them. Both Moon and Sun were silent and exchanged looks with each other. What were they going to say? What even was there to say? They had broken the hardest rule to ignore, and they knew that the next council meeting might be their last. They would be outcastes if the others ever found out. They begged Nature to have mercy. They were only young cats, how could they not have a chance to know the other? Nature, though, would not have it. She told them that if they wanted her to keep this from the council, they must severe their friendship; become nothing more than what they were supposed to be: acquaintances. And that's what happened. For months, the two avoided each other, had nothing to do with one another. And as a result, Nature never once spoke about them to the council. To Moon, she was upset yet never showed it. To Sun, this was unbearable. He didn't care what others said, what he and Moon had was special, something unbreakable. She was his friend, and in his eyes, something more. What he felt became so unbearable, he did the worst thing anyone in his position could do: he went to go talk to her. He tried to convince her that they could run away; run away from all the cats trying to tell them no, run away so they could just be themselves. At first, she was reluctant. Moon had always been one to try and be obedient. But this? This was almost too much to ask. But she knew if she didn't, she and Sun might never be able to see each other again. After bringing up his reasons, she finally agrees. No one knows what happened to them after that.
