She was one of the smartest cephalopods in Inkadia ,, but she mostly kept to herself . She was quite introverted ,, and not many Inkopolitans were exactly friendly to her anyway . Since she was half Octoling and half Inkling ,, people didn’t know what to make of her . Some viewed her as an ally ,, some viewed her as an enemy ,, and most stayed away entirely . Her life in Inkopolis Square ,, although quite ordinary ,, had been completely fine to her . She made immersive games under the pseudonym of “_B0BAGAM3Z_” and Inkopolitans ,, not knowing that she made the games ,, were enthralled by them . She went to the same cafe every day to work on her newest game . She wasn’t a *total* outsider ,, and she kept up with everyday news ,, Splatfests and all that ,, but she never participated in those events . There was supposedly a huge Splatfest going on right now—“Chaos vs. Order” ,, or something like that ?—but she didn’t have the time for that . Well ,, not until Marina Ida of Off The Hook herself came banging down her door . Marina had explained to her about Team Order’s loss ,, plus the fact that she didn’t want to upset her girlfriend and co-idol Pearl ,, and that she was doing this project in secret. She had asked Chiharu to help design an orderly virtual world called “The Memverse”. Chiharu was absolutely starstruck ,, and she silently said yes. She worked diligently ,, until one day ,, something went horribly wrong with the production of the Memverse . Trapped in the body of Pinging Marciale ,, her soul completely Grayscaled ,, she grew a special hate for Pearl and Marina ,, especially Marina . Eventually ,, she was freed ,, although irreparably Grayscaled ,, and she now seeks out Marina Ida to make her pay for what she turned Chiharu into .
