Hey guys! It’s been so long omg, but I was looking back through my old projects and found this thing I made on my old account which I’d completely forgotten about. The art was awful but the code was actually pretty cool, and I thought it was a waste for it not to be used, so I’ve updated the art and a couple other things. I’m not returning to scratch, I’m just updating and old thing I’ve been meaning to do for a while, but I’ll still check on here to make sure everything works.
OFFICIAL STUDIO: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/36472495 HOW TO PLAY: When the game starts, you’ll be asked if you already have a character. If it’s your first time playing, say no and you’ll be asked to pick a pelt colour. The cat on the screen will keep changing, wait until you see a colour you like and then just click on it to choose it. You’ll then be asked to input a prefix for your new character, and to select your clan. After this your unique character ID code will be generated (top left corner, it might take a few seconds so just wait for it to fully load before doing anything else). You can then share this (along with your character’s prefix, rank and clan) with other players who can use it to search for your character and help you rank up. To rank up, you can ask for codes in your the studio or in the comments, and another player can generate a unique code for you which you can then input into the game to advance to the next rank. Only other members of your clan of the right rank can do this. You start out as a kit, then automatically become a warrior apprentice when you rank up, however if you want you can switch to a medicine cat apprentice by clicking the ‘change role’ button (to do this you must be apprentice rank or higher). To rank up from a medicine cat apprentice to a medicine cat, you must receive a code from another medicine cat in your clan. Unlike in actual warrior cats, there is no limit to the number of medicine cats in a clan, but the game works best if there are enough of each to help other players rank up to whichever they want to be. Here’s a quick overview of what each of the buttons does: Home- takes you back to the page with your current character Music on/off- toggles music on and off Faq- some useful info about the game (if there’s anything you think shoukd be added pls let me know!) Change role- let’s you become a medicine cat apprentice (onky works if you are apprentice rank or higher, and you cannot switch back to a warrior once this is done) Events- gives you a randomly generated event that your cat is currently doing, can be used as an rp prompt Search bar- allows you to search for other players by inputting their name and ID code Rank up- click to input a rank up code you have been given and advance to the next rank Code and most of the art is mine (clan symbols from the internet), warrior cats by Erin Hunter
