Welcome to Neon Run, a special little platformer I made to celebrate my 400 followers!! :D All instructions can be found in the menu. This game is 100% pen, one sprite, and no costumes. It is made 100% by me. SPECIAL NOTE: To wall jump, hold down the up arrow and use left and right arrows to jump off the walls. To celebrate my 400 followers, I am also doing Q&A, so you can ask me any question in the comments and I will answer it. I will then write the question and answer at the bottom of the notes and credits. Curated - 7/22/16. Thanks @TrollMario! Top loved - 7/23/16. Thank you all! :D Music: "Mars" by @joshrawesome Thanks to @PeaBrainProgram for suggesting that I make the screen position different from the player position. I decided to take his advice, and I was very pleased with the result. I would also like to thank all of my 400+ wonderful followers! When I think back to my first days on Scratch, when I could barely program and my projects rarely surpassed 5 views, it just seems absolutely incredible to me how far I've gone since then. I never, ever thought that I would get this popular and I simply cannot believe how much I've achieved. I appreciate each and every one of my followers, and I could not be more grateful for your support. Although Scratch is about the joy of programming and making games to me, and not about views or followers, I am still grateful to all of you guys! Also, if you like pen games and projects, be sure to check out my pen studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/1953535/ Q&A: Q: How r u so good at pen and how to you make this code that is so advanced? -@HashaBasha A: Lots of practice and experimentation. Q: Have you gotten featured before? -@HashaBasha A: Yes, my project "Scrolling Level Editor 100% Pen" was featured. Q: Is the 'byclops' officially taking place of that green hexagon? Or will the green guy appear in later games? -@joshrawesome A: I think for now the 'byclops' is my main guy, because a square character works better with a square hitbox. Once I make a circular hitbox script, I can start making games with the hexagon guy again. Q: Why is your name a bunch of random numbers? -@nightwing600 A: One time my friend and I were trying take on GIMPS (Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search), and so we wrote a program in Python that was optimised for finding large primes. One of the numbers we tested to see if it worked was 2^123768731-1. (The fact that the third to last digit in my name is a 6 and not a 7 is just a typo.) Q: What a tip you can give Scratchers trying to make something amazing? -@Harrisons22 A: The most important thing about making good scratch projects is being able to push yourself and try to make games that go outside of your comfort zone as a programmer.
