[TW: Mentions of d3ath and fighting] "My offer is simple. No hidden strings. No trickery or manipulation." Cavern began. "Just... tell me what it is." sighed Lowol. "You give me the information, you keep your life. You don't, and well... I think you can guess." Lowol froze for a minute, then responded with, "I'd rather die than let such dangerous information fall into the possession of someone like you." Cavern glared. She'd been so sure he'd accept her offer. Because who wouldn't value their life over guarding information? Now she was faced with a dilemma- she had to k!ll him. Or at least attempt to, or he wouldn't respect her. She told herself that the information was probably in a book somewhere, not his head. But what if it was in his head, asked a part of her mind. She ignored it, knowing that it didn't really believe the information was in his head. It wanted to save Lowol for... other reasons. But... maybe it was in his head, after all? She better not k!ll him, to make sure. Yes. That was decided. She would just attempt to k!ll him. With that, she leapt onto Lowol with a snarl, tearing into him with her abnormally long fangs. Lowol yelped, for he hadn't really believed her. He struggled, trying to get free. I'm going to d!e, he thought. And suddenly he was okay with that. His life had been a pretty good one, and Cavern would never find that dangerous information. And so even as pain racked his body, he smiled.
