** THIS GAME WAS BROKEN AFTER A SCRATCH UPDATE PLEASE SEE https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/215189208/ INSTEAD ** With Scratchnapped lying dormant, Evil Uncle Bitmap has had more than enough time to perfect his cloning machine! Can you hold back the army of marauding clones long enough for the coding to finally be completed... Everything is point and click with the following exceptions: <SPACE> sends in the next wave if the countdown has started P to pause Q to quit S to toggle sound on/off Select your turret at the bottom of the screen and then click a tower to place it. Other items found in the game can be clicked to activate them. An activated upgrade should be applied to a turret. Each tower can be upgraded twice for power (lightning bolt) and twice for range (red disk). Double click a tower to destroy it (note there is no refund for doing so).
** THIS GAME WAS BROKEN AFTER A SCRATCH UPDATE PLEASE SEE https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/215189208/ INSTEAD ** Please check out my current project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/11818189/ 2013.09.18 1.4a. Removed ghost effect from title page to reduce any lag there. 2013.09.02 Release of v1.4! New weekly high score feature. A weekly high score can be held for a maximum of seven days before resetting. 2013.07.23 Release of v1.3! Ranges are now shown prior to buying a turret. 2013.07.22 Release of v1.2! High scores are now enabled. Hover over a level button on the title screen to see who holds the high score. Can you beat them? 2013.07.22 I am starting to look at High Score functionality now that I have access to cloud data. Also please check out http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/11447336/ It is a really original project that deserves to be seen by more scratchers! 2013.07.21 Extra cash added to level 1 and a new "Butterfly" level slotted in as level 3. This is a gentler introduction to levels with multiple spawn points. 2013.07.20 You can now double click to destroy a tower. This does not refund any cash! 2013.07.19 In response to comments about level 1 being too hard, I have added a new first level and shifted the others back a place (sorry for any confusion this may cause). This new level has additional money ready to pick up (click it!) and most waves drop upgrades, money or bombs to experiment with. Credits: A whole bag of kudos goes to my brother for his beautiful Scratch Cat animations which I have shamelessly stolen from Scratchnapped. The sound effects were either stock samples or gathered from elsewhere around the web. Again thanks to griffpatch for his ingenious way of handling case sensitivity. The rest is mine...
